Empire Marathon Book 3 title announcement
The following is a press release VP distributed May 7.
Sci-Fi novelist and army veteran, Andrew Valenza, announced yesterday the title of his upcoming book, the third installment of The Empire Marathon.
In a social media post and on the publisher’s website, Valenza announced that the new book is titled “Gods of the Void,” and will be a cosmic horror story releasing summer 2026.
The book will be a direct continuation of its predecessor, “Lost World of the Void,” once again swapping genres to give readers a fresh story and new look about how the cinematic landscape has shifted over the last few decades.
Valenza’s debut novel, “Empire of the Void,” the first installment in The Empire Marathon, was released in summer of 2023, and paved the way for Valenza to create a publishing house, Valenza Publishing, later that year in order to help authors around the north country region achieve their publishing goals.
Currently, Valenza Publishing has nine original titles with five authors, including J.T. McGee, previously Valenza’s high school creative writing teacher at Saratoga Central Catholic.
“Empire of the Void” has previously seen immense success as an independent book as it sees a high number of sales both in stores such as Barnes & Noble, and at book fair signings and events in the summer.
Valenza Publishing also pledges a 2% donation of its gross income at the end of every month to non-profit veterans and first responders organizations. This last April, Valenza Publishing made its pledge to the Veterans and Community Housing Coalition to help them build new homes for homeless female veterans and their families.
